I am slightly panicking about the ridiculous amount I have to do in the next couple of weeks, but I suppose that’s just how it goes. Gonna post a couple things I rustled up this morning. I am working on a diddy story line for some silly submission thing I have to do. Hate rushing things but I need to learn to prioritise!

This song came on this morning. It is stunning; no amount of woeful cover can ruin it. It is one of those that are difficult to listen to the whole way through, due to fear of it breaking you down into a wistful and weepy mess - but one that you will listen to, regardless.

Right, pretty much over this whole winter thing now: ridiculous amounts of work have yet to be done due to a distinct lack of time/energy; everybody is ill and miserable; I am flat broke from using my phone as an ear muff and being casually obsessed with hot chocolate; everybody is ill and miserable; and I have also completely run out of socks.

Just stumbled across James Blake’s version of a very beautiful song by Joni Mitchell. Sort of found myself liking his take on it, although nothing really could beat the original, ‘cause let’s face it: it’s bloody gorgeous.
