The weather this week has been glorious, I can scarce believe it!
Snuck out of work around 7:30pm the other day to see whether it was still beautiful outside (also to see if I couldn’t just thaw myself a little before suffering anymore under the bitter coolness of the air conditioning!) and let me tell you, it was.
Unfortunately, I had to resign myself back to the dungeon for the rest of the evening. I have, although, had loads of time to enjoy the sun this week, and this makes me a very happy little lady!
‘Yes, I was a little disappointed at first but I guess it’s starting to sink in properly and I find myself almost looking forward to being on my own properly. Except of course, knowing that I will have those terrible nights of paranoia in which I will convince myself that somebody has secretly made their way into my room clutching a murderous weapon, just waiting in the stillness of dark to pounce and KILL ME! Sometimes I worry about my mental state, but then again, I think so many people are far too secretive about their insanity, whereas we are just far more open about it. We embrace our crazies .
Well at least your heart is in it, that gives me some comfort at least. So, thank you.’
